Precious metals

Pure gold and silver alloys or those created by combining the two are among the oldest known worked metals.Their malleability allows one to obtain leaves with a thickness of about 0.1 μ.

Alloys of gold and silver combined with other noble metals give rise to leaves with different colours and physical characteristics.

High gold content alloys, due to their low tendency towards oxidation, are particularly indicated for all applications in contact with the external environment or with particularly hostile environmental situations, such as for example, the sea.
